Growing Instructions Plant between September-November, before the ground freezes. Loosen the soil to a depth of around 20cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality. Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is around 2-3 times the depth of the bulb. Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards. Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil. (If not planted immediately, open bag and spread somewhere cool and dry to prevent the bulbs sweating and rotting).
