Resincoat Anti-Slip Step Paint is a high strength coating to provide long lasting slip resistance to stairs and steps. Coverage Rates: 1kg: 3-4m² 2.5kg: 8-10m² Application Guide: Preparation: We advise that you vacuum the area. Old paint finishes should be removed if flaking and if well bonded abraded to create texture prior to applying the paint. Shot blasting or grinding is always advisable. Primer Guide: For new concrete floors prime with Resincoat Damp Tolerant Primer For old floors prime with Resincoat Deep Penetrating Primer Application: Application: Apply at a temperature of at least 7°C. Please note for 2 coats you will require 2 epoxy rollers. *Please note the medium anti slip additive is already pre-mixed in part A. 1. Mix parts A & B together by using a paddle attachment to an electric drill. 2. Continue to mix until a uniform colour is achieved. 3. Begin to roll out the coating in an even, consistent method. 4. Be sure to back-roll to fully encapsulate the anti slip profile inside the epoxy resin formula. 5. Once dried you may wish to add a top-coat using the same method. 6. If you are using a second coat, coat 2 should be applied after a minimum of 14 hours and before a maximum of 24 hours. *The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. Ensure you remove the paint from the tin in this window. The paint will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes. Pot life = Time to harden in pot following addition of hardener Working Time = Time to apply product before becoming unworkable *This product is NOT UV stable therefore will discolour when exposed to sunlight. *This product can NOT be split.
