- Period of Interest: This blackcurrant bush is deciduous, so leaves will bloom each spring and remain until autumn. They will die off over the winter months before returning each spring. Clusters of flowers bloom from mid-late spring, followed by glossy black berries which are ready to be picked in midsummer.
