A great choice of double-flowered Lavatera - very low maintenance, enabling all to get a stunning display with minimal fuss! This popular and quick growing Lavatera is the perfect addition to add into those gaps, filling with a gorgeous display of pink blooms. Height: 120cm (4ft). Spread: 90cm (3ft). Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. Grow lavatera plants in borders and containers outdoors in moist, well drained soil in full sun. When growing lavatera in containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, lavatera plants require only occasional attention. Pruning lavatera is best undertaken in spring when all risk of frost has passed and the buds begin to swell. Prune all stems hard to about 30cm above ground level.
