About this item
  • Louisiana iris for the marginal shelf, a clump forming perennial with upright sword shaped leaves 90 to 90cm tall, planted at a water depth of 0 to 10cm
  • Spreading 10 to 50cm, the dense upright clump adds vertical structure at pond margins, in bog gardens and around the shallow edges of a garden water feature
  • Large flat flowers in deep wine red, each lit by a gold signal on the falls, open from March to May for a dramatic display held above the sword shaped foliage
  • Grows in full sun to partial shade in consistently moist or shallowly submerged soil, and is rated hardy at H4 for a sheltered spot in a British garden
  • Medium difficulty, the flowers support pollinators such as bees and butterflies at the pond edge through the flowering season

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
