- Not all dandruff scalp treatments, antifungal shampoos or dry scalp shampoos are created equal. There are myriad causes for dandruff - ranging from imblances in the microbiota of the scalp to diet, stress and environmental factors. There are two main kinds of dandruff - oily and dry. Oily dandruff flakes are yellower in colour, tend to clump together and congest the scalp, and are harder to remove whilst dry dandruff flakes tend to be smaller and easier to brush out. - Both kinds can be treated via this 2-step process compised of an initial "attack" phase (CLEAR shampoo 1), followed by a "management" phase (CLEAR shampoo 2). This treatment plan eliminates persistent dandruff and prevents it from coming back, by bossting the microbiota. Step 1 Clear Intensive Shampoo works to immediately remove all types of dandruff linked to a dry or greasy scalp, while maintaining the balance of the microbiota. Step 2 Clear Regulating Shampoo soothes and cleanses the scalp and prevents the reappearance of flakes in just 15 days.
- Jujube bark is a powerful botanical extract that calms and soothes, reducing itching and regulating sebum. It restores the skin barrier of the scalp and regulates speed of skin-cell turnover which can cause clogging at surface level. Scalposine is an amino acid that restores the microbiota.
- "HOW TO USE: This sulfate free dandruff shampoo is best used as an intensive treatment 2-3 times a week for atleast a fortnight. Brush out and detangle your dry hair to shake out impurities. Apply the product to wet hair and spread evenly over the scalp, starting at the nape of the neck. Gently massage in to work up a lather and help activate the ingredients and encourage their penetration into the scalp. Rinse thoroughly with water. To maintain and prolong results, follow with our step 2 Clear Regulating Shampoo as a complementary product."
