• 2M TILTING SHANGHAI PARASOL: This 2m Shanghai Parasol from Christow is coloured contemporary grey with a beautiful oriental-inspired look to add instant style to your patio or decking. Its decorative Shanghai-style shape ensures it looks just as attractive closed as it does when it’s open, whilst a tilt function provides perfect shade from sunrise to sunset.
• UV PROTECTIVE CANOPY: The canopy has a diameter of 2-metres and is made from durable 180g polyester with a UV 30+ rating to protect you from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. An air vent allows air to circulate more freely when you’re relaxing beneath it to keep you cool in hot, humid weather. It also protects the parasol from being pulled up and over by the wind.
• CRANK HANDLE & TILTING MECHANISM: The parasol has a crank handle to easily raise and lower the canopy. Simply turn the handle clockwise to open the canopy and anticlockwise when you want to close it. It also has a tilt mechanism on the pole to tilt the canopy left or right. Perfect for blocking out the sun as it rises, sets, and moves throughout the day.
• STEEL POLE & FIBREGLASS RIBS: The Shanghai has a steel pole which is heavier than an aluminium pole for extra strength and stability. It’s also powder-coated for rust-resistance and long-lasting outdoor use. The canopy is held in place by 16 fibreglass ribs which have the dual-benefit of being strong and flexible to prevent them snapping in breezy weather.
• PARASOL BASE NOT INCLUDED: The Shanghai comes in two parts which slot together to easily assemble, take apart, and store away. A parasol base is NOT INCLUDED and is essential for keeping it safely weighted. Christow stock a range of compatible bases. Choose an 11kg base if you’re using the parasol with a table or 25kg base if you’re using it without a table.
