Both the toe and heel are reinforced with durable rubber and provide protection against wear. They are made from soft, double-lined neoprene and have a convenient zip from sole to ankle, making them easy to put on and take off. Water ingress is reduced to the minimum by a thin flap under the zip that serves as an effective barrier against any water that seeps through the zip.
