ABUS CliffHanger MIPS mountain bike helmet – for riding on challenging trails The CliffHanger is the flagship model among the trail helmets in the ABUS MTB series. When riding your enduro bike down steep hills and up steep climbs, this MTB helmet offers reliable protection. The MIPS version of the CliffHanger even comes with additional impact protection. Lighter, better ventilated and with a non-slip TriVider strap distributor – these are the features that make the CliffHanger stand out. The special MTB adjustment system also ensures that the helmet sits comfortably and securely on your head, even when rattling through the wildest rock gardens. The inner shell made of EPS hard foam is moulded into a three-part outer shell. This ensures lightness, stability and a durable connection between the shells. In addition, a low-friction plastic shell is integrated into the helmet, known as the Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). In the event of a fall with an oblique impact, it ensures that the rotational movements of the brain are reduced and the head is better protected.
