The DRYFOB Waterproof Car Key Container is the original scuba diving capable car key container, and the only one you'll ever need. Invented by two master scuba divers in Miami, it was released in 2021 and is now trusted by thousands of divers worldwide. The DRYFOB's proven and patented design keeps your electronic car key dry, even at depth. All DRYFOB models have now been certified and IPx8 water immersion rated to 1,200ft (365m) by an accredited US lab This is by no means a depth limitation, just the parameter we specified for our testing Note, some packaging may not reflect the new rating, but the design is the same Perfect for Scuba Diving and any other watersports or extreme sports where you want to protect your FOB from the elements. The interior of the DRYFOB is 1.65" (42mm) by 3.75" (95mm) and designed to fit all standard car key FOBs. The DRYFOB-L is slightly larger with an interior cavity size of 1.81” (46mm) by 3.93” (100mm) and made for larger FOBs. Both are neutrally buoyant with a FOB with a positive buoyancy of 2.3oz (65g) when empty and 3.2oz (92g) for the DRYFOB-L. Please ensure your car key fits before ordering. The patented DRYFOB Car Key Containers are machined out of a solid piece of rugged aluminum alloy and anodized for additional strength and corrosion protection. Dual O-rings and ample threads are used to provide a waterproof seal. There are two attachment points which can accommodate a (not included) bungee, ring, or clip. Small enough that most divers carry their DRYFOB in a BCD pocket but can be clipped to a D-ring or other secure spot.
