- This is a timer extractor fan that is usually used in a bathroom or toilet and is intended to be operated in conjunction with the room light switch. When the ambient light is on, the fan will start when the ambient light is off, the fan will continue to run for a preset time and then turn off.
- To ensure that the timer function works properly, three separate electrical connections must be made on the fan terminals. The additional permanent live connection is required to allow the fan to continue running after turning off the corresponding room light switch.
