This fire front transforms the appearance of solid fuel fires whilst providing functional benefits. Crafted from heavy duty cast iron with midnight black finish, it features six slatted air vents for air circulation with a steel ring for easy removal of dirt debris. The fret measures 450mm wide x 200mm high x 100mm deep for the 18 inch model. Also available in 14 inch (360mm x 145mm x 85mm) or 16 inch (400mm x 200mm x 80mm) sizes, offered in matt black or brown enamel finishes. The functional sliding vent draws air operates via the central chrome ring. Compatible with corresponding size grates ashpans including 16 inch 18 inch ashpans. Fire fronts decorate the fireplace front whilst preventing stray sparks embers from escaping onto the hearth area. The sliding vent can be shut down at night to slow the burn rate. Ensure the base is level for proper fitting. Start with a small fire initially to allow the fret to weather in. Suitable for solid fuel fires, inset gas fires, hotboxes, multiflues electric fires.
