Kattovit Feline Diet - Kidney / Renal has been specially developed to provide cats with a reduced protein content through the use of high-quality protein in an easily digestible composition. High protein content can have a damaging effect on the kidneys. The decisive factor is the protein content based on the amount of energy. In contrast to conventional feed, Kattovit Kidney / Renal only provides about half of the energy by protein. The enrichment with potassium citrate has a urinary alkalizing effect and can thus prevent oxalate crystal formation (oxalate prophylaxis). The content of phosphorus is reduced.
