Horrible Games Similo: Animals

• A co-operative deduction game with thirty beautifully illustrated cards detailing portraits and names of a series of characters with a common theme.
• Your goal is to make the other players guess one secret character by playing other character cards from your hand as clues, stating whether they are similar to or different from the secret character.
• In Similo Fables play the characters from fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White!
• The Clue Giver must lead the Guessers to identify one Secret Character by playing other character cards from his hand as clues, stating whether they are similar to or different from the Secret Character. For example, the Clue Giver must lead the Guessers to identify Little Red Riding Hood. They could play Snow White vertically, to imply that the Secret Character is a girl, has dark hair, or has something to do with red or green colours. Or, they might play The Genie horizontally to point out that the Secret Character is human, it’s not male, it’s not physically imposing, or it does not use magic… it will be up to the Guessers to understand what the Clue Giver is trying to suggest!

Product Description Each version of Similo comes with a deck of 30 big cards beautifully illustrated by NaÏade, showing the portrait and the name of a series of characters with a common theme. In Similo: Animals you will play with the creatures of the animal world! The Clue Giver must lead the Guessers to identify one Secret Character by playing other character cards from his hand as clues, stating whether they are similar to or different from the Secret Character. For example, the Clue Giver must lead the Guessers to identify the Cow. They could play the Horse vertically, to imply that the Secret Character is a mammal, herbivore, or a big quadruped. Or, they might play the Woodpecker horizontally to point out that the Secret Character is not a bird, is not a small animal, or does not live on trees…. it will be up to the Guessers to understand what the Clue Giver is trying to suggest! You can also mix and match different versions by using one deck for the characters and the other for the Clues… will you guess which animal has something in common with Ermes, Artemis and Apollo from Similo: Myths? Directions 1. Divide the players into the Clue Giver and the Guessers. 2. The Clue Giver picks a Secret Character from the deck and places it face down. 3. The Clue Giver plays other character cards from his hand as clues, stating whether they are similar to or different from the Secret Character. 4. The Guessers discuss and make guesses about the Secret Character. 5. After each turn, the Guessers remove one or more characters from the table until only the right one remains and the Clue Giver wins, or it is removed and the Clue Giver loses. 6. The role of the Clue Giver can be rotated among the players for the next round.
