About this item
- Water plantain, a marginal pond plant 50 to 120cm tall with broad lance shaped leaves on upright stems, planted 0 to 20cm deep in a basket on the pond shelf
- Spread of 45 to 90cm gives a graceful clump for a wildlife pond, lakeside or naturalistic wetland scheme where shallow water or saturated soil is available
- Open branching stems carry many small and delicate pinkish white flowers from July to September, creating a light and airy display well above the leaves below
- Grows in full sun to partial shade and is hardy at H7, so the plant comes through a British winter outdoors at the margin of a garden pond or a lakeside planting
- Medium difficulty, this species supports pond and wetland ecosystems, providing habitat for aquatic insects and adding to biodiversity at the margin of a pond

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
