- PROTECTION - Multi-layered fireproof mat (31"x19" / 80x50 cm) that protects the floor from sparks, ambers, ashes or incandescent material coming from the fireplace hearth, heater or fire pit. Suitable to protect any type of floors: wood, tiles, parquet etc.
- HEAT INSULATION - The flame retardant carpet plush side is placed in contact with the floor, acting as a thermal barrier and impeeding that the heat crosses the carpet and damages the floor. Thanks to its multilayer composition, the best levels of protection and thermal insulation are achieved with a thin carpet.
- IMPERMEABLE - This fireproof mat is totally impermeable and asbestos-free, and is easily cleaned with a wet cloth.
- REGULATIONS - The carpet has been tested in accordance to official regulations ISO 15025 (A1-A2 flame spreading) and EN 20811 (Resistance to water penetration). The fabric is certified according to EN ISO 13501-1 standard - Classification based on the fire behavior of construction products and elements for building.
- IMPORTANT - The upper side is the glossy black, the plush side must be in contact with the ground, acting as a thermal insulator. It is recommended to take the incandescent material off the carpet as soon as possible in order to lengthen then product's useful life and avoid that temperature may cross the carpet in extreme cases.
