This rearview mirror is designed to clip over an existing rearview mirror mounted on your car windscreen via some sprung loaded clamps on the back. It then also works as a normal rear view mirror until you select reverse gear and then inbuilt 4.3" LCD screen comes on and shines through from the rear showing the picture from your reversing camera. The input to the camera is an industry standard phono connections, also known as a RCA cable. The monitor can take power from any ignition switched power supply and will stay 'asleep' until it receives a picture signal. This is a good way to fit a monitor in a car for a reversing camera without having something ugly stuck to the dashboard.
