Product Description This 100% polyester grosgrain ribbon is attractive for its ribbed appearance and texture as a contrast to satin. Predominant in traditional textiles, particularly millinery and accessories, this ribbon has now come into its own in packaging and home decoration. Ribbons are fully tested in our accredited laboratory, for colour fastness, wet and dry rubbing, absorbance of oil and water and compression against icing. These tests are carried out to ensure ribbons are fit for purpose and to ensure there can be no transfer of colour from ribbon to cake or wicking of the ribbon from fats and sugars. After coating and testing, ribbons can be either cut to length or converted into a bow or trimming. Our in house clean room offers the perfect controlled environment to manufacture direct food contact ribbon trims.
