The Yonico Cove Panel Raiser Router Bit with Back cutter will cut cove raised panels easily while reducing the tongue thickness to 1/4". Use with 5/8"-1" stock. Two flute carbide cutters and 1/2" shank. Back cutter - 2" Diameter x 1/4" Cutter Height - Front Cutter - 3-1/4" Diameter x 9/16" Cutter Height Like our standard raised panel bits, these bits create a beautiful profile for the centre panel of rail and stile doors while at the same time, cutting away the back surface of the stock to reduce its thickness even further. Install one of these bits in your high-powered table mounted router and route your panels face down. Raised panel router bits have a large diameter and remove a lot of material, so make sure you have a router with enough horsepower to handle this kind of work. All standard raised panel bits are fitted with radial bearings to make adjustment of the router table fence easy. Do not use these bits in handheld routers.
