With its incomparably silky look, our Anchor pearl yarn is a mercerised, 2-thread, lightly twisted yarn that enhances and enhances embroidery work. Due to the twisting of beads and the combination of yarn thicknesses, it is often used in many countries for Hardanger embroidery. Anchor stranded cotton is also used in some countries for cross stitch as well as for free embroidery and other counted embroidery techniques. It is often used for crocheting. Anchor Pearl yarn is made from 100% long Egyptian Giza cotton fibres in our own production facility using the latest technology and the most advanced dyeing methods under full attention to the environment and compliance with environmental regulations. Anchor stranded cotton is tested for friction, sweat and water resistance. Plain-coloured yarns can be washed up to 95o, multi-coloured and ombre yarns up to 60o and metallic polyester yarns up to 30o. The yarns are dyed according to international standards in terms of washing resistance, as well as light and friction resistance.
