No longer do you need to worry about some varieties of bamboo spreading and becoming too large - this HSK Bamboo Control System safely contains the bamboo, stopping it from spreading beyond a defined area. Made from flexible but very tough plastic, spread the root barrier around the bamboo to control the spread of the bamboo rhizomes. If inserted at a slight angle, it also enhances growth as the new rhizome shoots in the spring are persuaded to grow upwards and not outwards. Once a year in autumn inspect and cut off any rhizomes that may have attempted to escape over the barrier.
