Matching neck piece for the Bucas Power Turnout Classic Cut Turnout blanket This neck fits the premium Bucas Power Turnout blanket. The neck part is fixed on the left and right of the ceiling with a Velcro strip. At the front of the neck, it is also closed with Velcro fasteners and is adjustable in size. The neck part is waterproof, windproof, breathable and has a wide temperature band. (Cover from the cover picture is not included) Material/features: The outer material of the neck part, like the blanket, is made of ballistic nylon and reflects sunlight outwards or body heat inwards. Between the outer skin and inner lining is an interlayer made of the stay-dry fabric. This supports the excellent breathability of the neck part. The neck part is lined with a silky soft polyester fabric, so that no chafing can occur. Why even a neck piece? The neck of the horse is one of the largest muscles of the horse. It is very important to keep this muscle warm in winter. Horses lose a lot of heat over their neck and in winter it takes longer to warm up the neck muscle. A neck piece keeps this area nice and warm and thus reduces the risk of the horse losing muscle or even pulling the neck muscle. It helps maintain the neck muscles over a long winter. Thanks to a neck part, no rainwater can run into the blanket, as this simply drains off the outside of the ceiling.
