• VINIFICATION: A blend of Corvina (including Corvinone), Rondinella and Molinara grapes which are semi-dried for 120 days, macerated for 7-8 days, fermented for 4-6 weeks and matured in Slavonian oak for 2 years before further bottle ageing for 6 months
• THE PROFILE: The flavour is full-bodied creating a majestic and velvety wine with great structure, fresh taste and tones of dried grape. The bouquet is broad and finely nuanced, with scents of wild berries and notes of ripe black cherry and plum
• PAIRING NOTES: Best served chilled at 17-18°C, this Italian still red wine is excellent for accompanying refined dishes and very mature cheeses. It pairs exceptionally well with prime cuts of meat and is also enjoyable served on its own at the end of a meal

Product Description Zonin Jewels Amarone Della Valpolicella DOCG Italian Still Red Wine A dry, fresh and full-flavoured red wine, well-balanced with notes of ripe black cherry and plum. It boasts a garnet-red colour, displaying notes of ripe black cherry and plum. It is a full-bodied, full-flavoured wine with great structure. Well-balanced and perfectly balanced tannins, alcohol and acidity. A blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes are semi-dried on trays, in ventilated rooms, for about 120 days. The must is macerated on the skins for seven to eight days; fermentation lasts from four to six weeks. The wine then matures in 30-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels for two years and for a further six months in bottle before being released onto the market. For over 200 years, the Zonin Family has maintained a strong link with its roots in the land and vineyards on the hills of Gambellara, a small village in the heart of Veneto Region, where Zonin produces a selected range of still and sparkling wines from the most prestigious appellations, DOC and DOCG, of this territory.
