There are five models in the Gauge series, with the 8 Gauge being one of the thinner models, featuring a lightweight design that's perfect for light articulation. All drumsticks in the Gauge Series feature a consistent length, taper, and a 'fusion' style tip shape, which is a blend between the popular acorn tip and round tip, giving you the best of both worlds. Each model has a proportional diameter, allowing a familiar feel and seamless adjustment between the sticks. All Gauge Series drumsticks are made in Maine from US hickory and are weight-matched, tone-paired and guaranteed straight. The next size up from the 8 Gauge is the 9 Gauge model which features a thicker diameter and familiar 5A feel.
