- LID AND HINGED PLATFORM ENSURE PARCELS ARE IRRETRIEVABLE UNTIL YOU ACCESS THEM: Lifting the lid of the parcel box raises the hinged platform. Simply place the parcel on the platform and close the lid. The parcel will drop to the secure space at the base of the parcel drop box and remain irretrievable until the parcel store is accessed via its side door. The side door can be secured with a padlock (not supplied).
