Magnolia 'Honey Velvet' brings rich spring fragrance and glossy evergreen style to gardens of all sizes. In March and April, large creamy white goblet flowers emerge from velvety buds, filling the air with a sweet perfume and creating striking contrast against dark green foliage. This compact shrub grows to around 1.5 metres tall, making it suitable for smaller gardens, courtyards or large patio containers. The semi evergreen leaves keep structure in place even when flowers fade. Plant in moist, well drained soil with an acid to neutral pH. Water well while establishing and avoid heavy pruning.
