Grow sweet, juicy strawberries at home with Strawberry 'Sweet Summer', a productive everbearing variety bred to crop generously through summer and into autumn. Instead of producing one short harvest, these plants keep setting fruit over a long season, often continuing until the first frosts. The berries are large, conical, firm and full of flavour, with the sweetness and juiciness that makes homegrown strawberries so rewarding. Pick them straight from the plant, serve with cream, add to summer desserts, or use them for jams and preserves. 'Sweet Summer' is also a smart choice for smaller spaces. The plants produce fewer runners than many strawberry varieties, helping them stay neat, tidy and easy to manage. This makes them ideal for patio containers, raised beds, grow bags, fruit beds and vegetable patches. Easy to grow and naturally productive, these established plants give gardeners a stronger start than smaller plugs. Plant in a sunny position, water regularly, feed during the growing season and enjoy a long, delicious harvest of fresh strawberries. Supplied as a set of three established plants in 9cm pots, ready to plant.
