Use this Router bit to create small ogee cabinet door raised panels. Can also be used for simple and elegant ogee baseboards. 1/2" Shank. Use a raised panel router bit to reduce the thickness of the centre panel of rail and stile doors while at the same time adding a beautiful profile to the edge. Install one of these bits in your table mounted router and route your panels face down. Raised panel router bits have a large diameter and remove a lot of material, so make sure you have a router with enough horsepower to handle this kind of work. All standard raised panel bits are fitted with radial bearings to make adjustment of the router table fence easy. Do not use these bits in handheld routers. If you are using stock that is very thick, choose one of our raised panel router bits with a back cutter blade. These will remove excess stock from the back of the panel as well.
