Description Yatour’s YTM06-MAZ1 is a digital CD changer that can be used instead of a physical CD changer for old Mazda car models. YTM06-MAZ1 comes with: a module unit for old Mazda, Mazda plug, AUX cable. This Digital Car CD Changer for Mazda supports USBs, SD cards, Bluetooth and MP3 (via the AUX cable provided). The full kit additionally includes a Wire harness (CDC plug) and user manual. It has a BT Slot for the external Bluetooth Hands-free kit (BTM). With Hi-FI decoding chip, YTM06 supports WMA and MP3 tracks. Playlist function is the same as in multi CDs and it also features last position memory (LPM) so you can pick up where you left off! SD cards are preferable for use than USB sticks. YTM06-MAZ1 may NOT SUPPORT NEWER MODELS OF KINGSTON USB STICKS. Please format USB/SD card with FAT16 or FAT32 format before saving files, supports up to 15 folders in USB/SD. Storing excess of 500MB in any one folder is not recommended for best performance. Folder naming system is the form: CD01, CD02, CD03 etc. It is recommended to only use MP3 or WMA file types. To use the AUX port, you need to remove USB or SD card first. YTM06-MAZ1 car stereo adapter supports up to 15 folders and any one folder can have as many songs (but it is recommended to not exceed 500 MB per folder). The playback order of songs is by the date created. To debug car audio software, remove the battery or fuse to reset the car audio system. Regarding compatibility, it is important to note however that not all Mazda 6 supports external CDC connection, internal modification might be needed. Mazda 6, produced from Nov. 2003 to Sep. 2005, needs to solder a jumper or a 0-ohm chip register on locationL716 in its head unit. Also RX-8 radio firmware version must be v9.55 or later, v10.1 and v9.81 not supported. (Note to check the radio firmware is available).
