The Xyladecor extra 3-in-1 matte protector perfectly fulfils its functions: impregnates, protects and colours all in one. Technical data: long-lasting protection up to 4 years. Ideal for large wooden surfaces. Touch dry: 6 hours. Repainted: 12 hours. Suitable for outdoor use. Performance: 24 m²/L. Application method: Surface preparation: the surface must be clean, smooth and dry before treating. Repair all holes and surface defects if necessary sanding until the natural wood is achieved. The natural colour of the wood may influence the result of the final tone obtained when applying the protector. A third layer may be recommended. Avoid inhalation of dust. Use an appropriate mask when sanding the wood. No need to dilute. Application: Extra 3-in-1 Matte Protector is ready to use, should be shaken and removed before and during use. Apply with brush in the direction of the grain. After applying the 1 coat (wait about 12 hours) sand gently, remove the dust generated and apply a second coat. Drying time can increase in environmental conditions of cold or high humidity. It is recommended to sand before the first coat and between coats. To protect the new wood from the elements we recommend applying a third coat. It is not recommended to apply colourless to woods exposed to the sun. For lighter shades, you can mix any colour with the colourless (do not exceed 50% of the mix). All colours can be mixed with each other. Finish: Apply at least 3 layers of Xyladecor Extra 3-in-1 Matte Protector to protect from possible leaks. Cleaning: remove excess product from tools before cleaning the brush with turpentine or a special brush cleaner.
