The Simply Silent DX100 twin-speed extractor fan with wall kit features Ghost Air Movement Technology designed to deliver near silent ventilation. Meeting the latest building regulations this 4" (100mm) fan is specifically designed for use in bathrooms, shower rooms and ensuites. Requiring a 100mm diameter hole the Simply Silent DX100 is an ideal replacement for old noisy fans or as a new installation. The fan has a choice of two speeds that can be set to extract 15 or 21 litres of air per second and with innovative Ghost Air Movement Technology delivers low noise levels of 22 or 34 decibels @ 3 meters ensuring minimum noise irritation (15 litres per second at 22 dBA or 21 litres per second @ 34 dBA). With a more conventional grille-style fascia finished in Xpelair's cool white, the DX100 offers a number of So Simple installation features making it the ideal replacement fan and with So Simple Maintenance features such as a twist and click facia the products is easy to clean and maintain. The wall kit comprises a 300mm length of round telescopic wall tube and an external grille along with the fixings required to complete a through the wall installation. The plastic wall tube is 100mm in diameter and supplied in two pieces that slide into each other enabling the wall tube to be adjusted to the required length without the requirement to cut to down. The DX100 is available in four options.. Standard: Operated by remote switch usually a lighting circuit Timer: Operated by remote switch usually a lighting circuit, timer adjustable 30 sec - 30 minutes Pull Cord: Operated by a built-in on/off pull cord switch Humidistat: Operated by built-in humidity sensor adjustable from 50-90% RH.
