How to fit the TUTCH LATCH automatic spring catch: Position the catch 6mm back from the rear face of the door. Mark the centres of the two slots Drill a tiny pilot hole - just enough to get the screw started (the screws supplied are not self starters so the pilot holes will save a lot of frustration and prevent a positioning error) Screw the latch into position. Insert the 'Z' shaped marking jig as shown in the pictures make sure it is level by pushing up the mechanism to support it Push the door against the jig This will mark the door with the position of the centre of the slotted hole in the counter piece - Pilot drill this point. Screw the counter piece into position - relative position to latch shown in pictures. Now close the door check the latch operates correctly Adjust as necessary. Now hammer in the two pins supplied into the small holes in the latch just behind the fixing screws this will prevent any unwanted movement Pilot and screw the other counter piece screw Do not over tighten any screws.
