The carrier material is a branded tarpaulin material with approx. 650 gr./m² weight per m² with a very high tensile force and cannot be torn with the hand. We have coated this highly tear-resistant fabric with one of the best adhesives available on the market for many years. You will not only repair any type of tarpaulin or foil. Some customers have reported to us that they have even repaired their car seat or motorcycle saddle with the special repair tape. A customer wrote to us that the back wall of her sofa was completely scratched by the cat and she repaired it with the repair tape. And this is how it goes: It is not necessary to clean the area with alcohol or thinner. Many of chemical detergents are obtained from silicones. And silicone is the release agent for our adhesive. The best way to clean it is to use a standard detergent. The tip of a trucker: "Cut a lemon and rub over the gluing spot to remove fats and silicones". Then clean and dry the surface with clean water. Now comes the actual gluing process. Cut the desired length from the adhesive tape, peel the silicone paper off the adhesive tape, and attach it to the area to be glued. Press it well. Preferably with a pressure roller. If you do not have a pressure roller, then you may improvise with a round object and roll it a few times over. If you take this into consideration, you will be very satisfied with the bonding.
