The Worbla is non-toxic and safe on the skin and can be shaped by hand without the need for special tools, can take on complex curves without requiring a vacuous shape, and is self-adhesive when activated, which means glues are not necessary to join pieces. Using hot air, water or steam you can shape the plastic as needed. There is no waste because waste can be 100% conditioned and restored and reused to act as putty. When heated, it becomes flexible and takes shape well to the smallest detail, then becoming hard and stable when dry. The Worbla can be built in layers, shaped on foam shapes, sheets, threads or similar armor or can be used in a single layer. The material can be painted with almost any paint, wax or finishes.
