Worbla is non-toxic and safe on the skin and can be shaped by hand without the need for special tools, can take on complex curves without requiring a vacuous shape and is self-adhesive when activated, meaning glues are not required to join pieces. Using with hot air, water or steam you can shape the plastic as needed. There is no waste because the scraps can be conditioned and restored 100% and reused to act as a putty. When heated, it becomes flexible and takes shape well down to the smallest detail, then becomes hard and stable when dry. The Worbla can be constructed in layers, shaped on forms of foam, sheets, wires or similar armor, or can be used in one layer. The material can be painted with almost any paint, wax or finish.
