Product description WoodPress Quality Real Wood Veneer WoodPress presents our range of high-quality real wood veneer, cut into manageable sheets for ease. Uses extend to professional or amateur marquetry, model making, furniture repair, instrument repair and much more. How Veneer Can Damage Wood veneer can easily damage, especially if only a thin layer of glue was utilised when fabricating the piece. With older furniture or units, glue holding the veneer in place inevitably erodes through exposure to moisture and heat, causing blisters and peeling. Chipping, cracking and buckling is also common. The norm was to throw the entire item away and buy new, however, with the environment in mind, we wish to readdress that and encourage our customers to repair their units. A simple veneer restoration can render old furniture like new. This pack of wood veneers is designed to offer a cost-effective solution for small DIY or trade repairs. Each sheet is cut to a minimum of 20cm x 26cm, however they are often larger. Real Wood Veneer Repair Applications This real wood veneer is designed to finish or repair a variety of household or office surfaces, such as cabinets, shelves, kitchen units, kitchen surfaces, internal doors, tables, desks, picture frames, drawers, pianos, wooden toys, etc. The product is particularly useful for repairs to items similar to Ikea furniture and Ikea shelving. Finish as Desired This veneer is ready for professional finishing by staining, varnishing, waxing or applying finishing oils. Please note WoodPress real wood veneers are designed for indoor use. It may be applied to outdoor furniture but must be correctly treated to withstand outdoor conditions.
