A card from Woodmansterne's Quentin Blake range. Sir Quentin Blake CBE is one of the most prolific and certainly the best-loved of British illustrators. He continues to draw into his 80s. He was Head of Illustration at the Royal College of Art, became the First Children's Laureate and was an occasional presenter of the BBC children's story-telling programme Jackanory. His huge fabric mural opposite St Pancras station is an "imaginary welcoming committee" that greets arrivals to the UK from the Eurostar. Woodmansterne is a great British card company that has been publishing UK greetings cards for 25 years. Originally known for photographs from country houses, cathedrals, museums and galleries, the company made tracks into greeting cards in 1987, since when its brand has become a hallmark of good taste.
