Design-led gifts in the style of the famous Scottish Architect and interior designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 - 1928). Regarded as the leader of the modernist movement with his stylised clean lines, Rose motifs, colours and use of open space which was considered a totally new approach at that time, abandoning the flourishes of Art Nouveau. Although his Career was dogged by lack of recognition, he produced a remarkably wide range of work including Windy Hill House, Hill House, The Willow Tea Rooms and his greatest masterpiece the Glasgow School Of Art, now acclaimed as the first truly modern building.
