The pot handle is made from high quality strong plastic and can easily be assembled to the base of the pressure cooker. Turn the base of the pan upside down and you should see a screw, simply unscrew and pull the handle away from the base. Once the handle has been removed you can then place the new handle onto the pan. The new handle will include a small square washer which should be placed behind the new handle and aligned with the marking on the pressure cooker base.
