This Wiska 308 black junction box is supplied with 3 black 20 mm M20 IP68 cable glands, making it suitable for outdoor wiring, cable joints, lighting circuits, garden electrics, security systems, pumps, controls and general electrical installations. The junction box measures 85 x 85 x 51 mm and is rated to IP66 and IP67, helping protect electrical connections against dust, water jets and temporary immersion when correctly installed. The box has 8 x 20 mm threaded cable entries around the sides, giving the installer flexible options for cable entry positions. Each entry is sealed with a rubber gasket. When a 20 mm gland is screwed into the threaded entry, it cuts through the gasket cleanly to form the cable entry point. This helps keep unused entries sealed while allowing selected entries to be opened as required. The box is made from polypropylene with a TPE gasket and has a temperature range of minus 30°C to 100°C. It has also been glow wire tested to 750°C. The lid is secured with plastic quarter turn screws for quick opening and closing during installation or inspection. An exterior mounting bracket is included, which clips onto the box so the installer can mount it without drilling holes directly through the enclosure.
