Why does Wheel-Bee use a green LED light and no other? The human eye sees colors with a wavelength from about 400 nanometers (purple) to 700 nanometers (red). This range of 400 to 700 nanometers is called visible light or visible spectrum. The human eye perceives better the middle range of the visible spectrum - about 555 nanometers. The eye is more sensitive in this area. This wavelength has green light which is therefore the most visible color for humans. This is why Wheel Bee uses green light for more visibility and safety on the road.
