WEIHNACHT Christmas with the Vienna Boys Choir

Weihnacht mit den Wiener Sängerknaben (Christmas with the Vienna Boys Choir) features the world famous choir performing a wide ranging selection of the most well-loved and familiar Christmas carols, as well as some less-known outside German-speaking countries. The Vienna Boys choir is the most famous and best known boys' choir in the world and can look back on a history spanning more than 500 years. Many eminent composers - Gluck, Mozart and Bruckner, for instance - made music with this choir, and Franz Schubert was himself a member of the choir. Today there are about 100 boys in the choir, making up four performing groups which give about 300 concerts each year worldwide.
