• Characteristics: Weigela Monet is a deciduous shrub with vast amounts of variegated foliage, with that being shown through dark green and light pink shades. This two-toned look looks great alongside the pink blooms in May and June. Due to the plants deciduous nature, it will lose its leaves later in the year, before returning with fresh new foliage in Spring.
• Plant Advice: Weigela should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. The plant will be drought tolerant to an extent, but it will prefer regular watering so that the soil remains moist, especially in drier conditions.

Weigela Monet is a deciduous shrub with dark green and light pink variegated foliage. The array of leaves are borne through the compact growth habit of this shrub, with each leaf bearing a dark green centre and light pink marginal border. Pink flowering will begin to show in the late Spring and early Summer months of both May and June, with all of the plants great visual features coming together as one to create a stunning garden addition. Weigela plants should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and exposued to full sunlight when positioning it. It will be drought tolerant to an extent, but regular watering is the preferred option, especially in drier conditions.
