WEICON CONTACT VA 8406 CYANOACRYLATE ADHESIVE SPECIAL ADHESIVE PLASTIC ADHESIVE. The Weicon Contact VA 8406 liquid adhesive is a high-quality, low-viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive which is suitable for repairs / DYI projects / bonding indoors and outdoors - a multi-talent for all plastic materials. PROPERTIES OF THE ADHESIVE: - low viscosity - extra strong - liquid - transparent - high temperature resistant. APPLICATIONS OF THE SUPER ADHESIVE: - in household / garage / garden: DYI projects - tools - car / motorbike / bicycle. - Food industry - e.g. for gluing of flour sifters (safety certificate of ISEGA) - fixation / gluing of materials like: plastic (PVC / ABS / PS), rubber (solid and foam rubber). PROCESSING: Clean & dry the surfaces to be bonded. Roughen smooth surfaces mechanically. Apply the adhesive only to one of the surfaces to be bonded with a layer thickness of min. 0.05mm & max. 0.2mm & relative humidity of 40 to 80%, otherwise curing cannot be guaranteed. In case of large-area bonding, the contact adhesive should be applied pointwise to avoid internal tensions. STORAGE: WEICON Contact Adhesives are stable for at least 9 months if stored unopened at room temperature and in a dry & preferably dark place. At temperatures around +5°C they can be stored for 12 months.
