This high quality waterproof 10A 12V/24V solar charge controller is designed to protect batteries whilst charging them, with automatic cut-off to prevent over-charging and deep discharge. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology to increase charge acceptance and prolong the life of your battery. Often PWM technology can recover some lost battery capacity. Features of this controller include LED indicators, a temperature sensor, battery type selection, dual timer function and several load work modes. This controller has a wide solar input voltage range up to 50V and is suitable for solar panels with combined power up to 160W (when charging 12V batteries) / 320W (when charging 24V batteries). Features an external temperature sensor to measure the ambient temperature more precisely and optimise the charging process. Uses advanced communication technology, which offers the user the opportunity to monitor and program parameters for the solar charge controller through a remote meter or PC/laptop. This unit is compatible with sealed, gel and flooded batteries, with charging parameters specific to each battery type.
