As the gates open for a new term at Waterloo Road Comprehensive, the school is firmly in the spotlight following the murder of drama teacher, Izzie Redpath. Head Teacher Jack Rimmer secretly blames himself for her death, but this together with his determination to improve exam results leads him into taking risks to secure the school s future.
