How to Use: For Hydrating Crystals: Add 1 oz of dry crystals to 1 gallon of water. Let them sit overnight, then strain in the morning to get fully expanded crystals (approx. 400x original size). Crystals start at ~1mm and expand to 3–4mm when hydrated. Best Water to Use: Distilled water works best. Tap water may reduce expansion slightly due to natural minerals. For Insects: Place hydrated crystals in a shallow dish to provide a safe, drown-free water source for crickets, roaches, dubias, and more. For Plants: Mix dry crystals into soil before watering. Use in potted plants or gardens to retain moisture and reduce watering frequency. Pots: Mix crystals into soil, leaving 1 inch from the top. Water thoroughly.
