Water Lily ‘Pygmaea’ Trio Pond Kit brings beautiful floating blooms to even the smallest ponds and container water gardens. From June to September, elegant star-shaped flowers in red, white, and yellow drift across glossy green lily pads, creating a peaceful and colourful focal point for patios, balconies, and garden ponds. This complete pond kit includes everything needed to create a stunning miniature water garden, including three bare root dwarf water lilies, an aquatic planting basket, pond soil, and gravel. Compact, free-flowering, and easy to establish, these hardy dwarf lilies also provide shelter for fish and encourage beneficial pond wildlife. Ultimate height: 40cm (16in). Ultimate spread: 45cm (18in). How to Grow Light: Full sun in still water away from splashing fountains. Planting: Position rhizomes just below the soil surface in the supplied aquatic basket and cover with gravel. Water Depth: Gradually lower plants to a final depth of up to 40cm (16in) below water level. Watering: Keep permanently submerged in pond or aquatic container. Maintenance: Remove faded flowers and yellowing leaves regularly. Divide overcrowded plants as needed and protect from severe winter cold in exposed areas.
