Washable Pleated Sediment Filters 20" x 2.5" Regular Diameter (Suitable For Flow Rates Up To 4,000 Litres Per Hour) These Pleated Sediment Filters are manufactured from WRAS approved materials, consisting of Polypropylene and Vinyl Plastisol. Compatible with all standard 20" x 2.5" regular diameter filter housings as a high efficiency solution to remove particulate. Polypropylene has excellent chemical compatibility making it suitable for use with reverse osmosis and other pure water applications. Sediment filters such as these are regularly used as a first defence filter to trap particulate and prevent the premature blocking of membranes, UV systems and carbon filters, to pro-long their lifespan and reduce sediment blinding. Where used before a UV system it is recommended to use a 5 micron pre-filter. Available In 1, 5, 10 & 20 micron ratings (please note that these filters are only washable above 5 micron due to the small pore size)
