We recommend you only cover half the size of your whelping box area. Puppies also will not feed if they are chilled. Elderly pets will also benefit significantly from our heat pads and will love nothing better that to snuggle up on the cold autumn/ winter nights. Most dogs experience joint problems later in life and our heat pads are perfect to sooth and ease joints. Indoor use only ( not outdoors) Our heat pads have internal heating elements to the inner part and two or three inbuilt thermostats (depending on model purchased) which when the ambient temperature of the room is around 15C our heat pad has a temperature of 38C/40C These internal elements and thermostats can be felt thru the pad. In the free air the heat pad may not feel warm until your pet is on the pad low watts cheap to run Did you know?
